Castles in the Desert is a single color risograph zine that opens up to a map and 11”x17” poster featuring brief histories of twelve Castles tucked away in the Sonoran Desert and surrounding land.
The phenomenon of these desert fortresses is not solely related to the Phoenix metropolitan area. Tucson, Bullhead City, and Camp Verde all have their own citadels. Castles in the Desert is meant put them all in one complete guide.
