Description
Ned Doheny’s 1988 masterpiece 4th album “Life After Romance”, his only work from the 80s, reissued on color viny! The highlight of the album is his self-cover of the famous song “Whatcha Gonna Do For Me?”, familiar from Chaka Khan and the Average White Band, but other songs such as the title track, “Love’s A Heartache” and “Heartbreak In The Making” are full of sweet, refreshing and soulful songs that are full of Ned’s style, from ballads to up-tempo songs. The musicians who participated in the album are of course superb, including Jimmy Haslip, Abraham Laboriel, John Robinson, Gary Malabar and Timothy Schmit.
